MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide efficient purchasing of raw materials for snackfood manufacturing including cocoa, nuts, dairy and sugar to ensure the reliable supply of the factory
• Identify costs reduction opportunities to deliver the best value for money of raw materials purchased
• Ensure raw materials quality to meet the company standards
• Provide the legal foundation of the buying process to protect the business against financial risks
• Provide commercial data for operating plans and ROB to contribute to short and long-term business and financial planning process.
• Manage business risks related to material supply to minimize company's exposure.
• Challenge the status quo and drive COGS activities to minimize prime raws costs.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with internal clients
KEY ACTIVITIES
• Purchases the best quality raw materials at minimum possible cost by searching foe raws sources, negotiating contracts with suppliers on the base of market trends deep understanding, applying negotiation skills, provides timely picking up and paying, interface with other functional areas to assure timely supply and efficient handling of raw materials – delivery, storage and use
• Learns the technological process of raws production at each supplier, work out the individual plan of supplier’s development, visits and examines suppliers Good Manufacturing Practice, co-ordinate Vendor Assurance and Development/Integration programs implementation with R&D and Raw materials technologist to ensure best quality of purchased materials
• Learns the science of contract making and hidden dangers identifying as well as legislative base of commercial activities in order to avoid possible risks and to work in line with the legislation.
• Calculates, analyses and passes to S&F all necessary parameters to support ROB issue, short and long-term business and financial planning
